Software Engineer. Work done:
- Worked on PHP to add more features and more UI and UX to the current portal system:
- Collaboratively added some options to the daily activities registration system pertaining to sharing the activities to the branches and/or the departments.
- Made items registration follow up system, to facilitate the process of following and having an overview over all items with pending registration with their details.
- Made a calculator to replace the one made in Google Sheets, to calculate how much of quantities a branch should get. The new calculator have more options and less prone to errors compared to the old one.
- Queried using MS SQL and MySQL to perform tasks and generate various reports:
- Unpaid report, which lists the quantities of unpaid amounts and the clients who did not pay up to a specified date. This report over a deep drill down to each transaction done by or to the client. Also, it overs the option to filter by branch, sales person, collecting person, sales group manager, branch group and client status.
- Sales report for different products across several years.
- Active products report that contains a quick access to the products and their details compared to the older slower method.
- Purchase recommendation report, which shows which products are recommended to purchase and their purchasing information based on the available, safe amount, targets, purchase orders, purchase requests and previous sales across several years. With some drill-down information about the details.
- Assisted on making the report of remaining (in stock) statement which lists the quantities of sold, purchased and moved transaction of an item along with its adjustments.
- Used Travis to perform automated tests.
- Installed instance of Odoo, to illustrate Odoo power in action.
- Followed up with third-party companies to ensure the quality of their works and to emphasis the needs of having a proper UI/UX.
- Taught the other developer about the importance of UI/UX.
